Step By Step Empowerment Foundation is a non profit Organization working on developing under-privileged communities through lifelong projects.
Step by Step Empowerment Foundation is a beacon of hope for vulnerable populations in Uganda, dedicated to alleviating suffering and promoting sustainable development. As a legally registered Non-Government Organization, we are committed to serving the needs of vulnerable children, elderly individuals, and environmental conservation efforts across Uganda.
Our journey began with the transformative support received by our founder, Mr. Richard Mukasa, whose life was profoundly impacted by the generosity of Madam Victoria Dzwons from Colorado Springs, USA. Inspired by this act of kindness, Mr. Mukasa embarked on a mission to pay it forward, dedicating his life to uplifting others in need.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration majoring in Accounting from Makerere University, Mr. Mukasa brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our foundation. His professional background includes roles as a sales representative at Standard Chartered bank and as a Finance Officer and Administrator at Bufumira Islands Development Association (BIDA), where he spearheaded initiatives to support orphans, vulnerable children, and marginalized communities in the Kalangala region.
Driven by a passion for social justice and community empowerment, Mr. Mukasa's leadership exemplifies professionalism, accountability, transparency, and integrity. Despite facing financial constraints, he has tirelessly devoted his resources to the cause, acquiring land in Kavule Mpigi District to establish our foundation's headquarters.
